Richi Sunak's plan to abandon the "Triple lock" for state pensions should trigger an early General Election.
Sunak has U turned on the Conservative pledge made by Liz Truss to keep the Triple Lock .Which requires pensions to rise with inflation. This is a decision being made by the Multi Millionaire Prime Minister who struts about Downing St wearing his £3,500 suits. Will the state pensioners vote Tory this time .... No Chance.

//Pensioners wanted lock down and got it,...// Not all of them, youngmaf. In fact, I believe the majority of people who were happy with the lockdown were young and middle-aged professionals. They were able to retreat to their homes, no more travelling to work and they could stay their whilst other poor sods who were not able to do likewise fetched and carried...

"Richi Sunak's plan to abandon the "Triple lock" for state pensions should trigger an early General Election. " - says who?
What plan? He just hasnt ruled it out or in....join the Daily Express campaign if you think it'll help... or just wait for the November budget
Yes
//Rishi Sunak’s abandonment of “triple lock” protection for the state pension should be the trigger for an early general election, a senior member of Labour’s shadow cabinet has said.//
Well his going to say that.... would be silly for Wes to say "whatever..."
As a resident abroad I wonder why gulliver seems to care so much about the UK.
'It should trigger an election', says Wes Streeting.

'It won't', says Naomi24.
All this GE talking is just a lefty wet dream. The only way there'll be an election is when the PM calls one and that will most likely be in 2024.
Gulliver used to talk about other things. It's just politics now - and most of that a product of his imagination. Shame really. He used to be quite interesting.
He doesn't really talk about politics. He just throws a grenade of a statement but never actually debates the point.
That's about it.
But you all respond , don't you
Yes because we don't want his BS to go unchallenged.
Attacking the poster is what they do on here Bazile. ABs advice was to ignore posts or the poster if you have little interest. This is no more than a personal attack on the poster.
'Will the state pensioners vote Tory this time...no chance." Well, as the offshore socialist pushing for a Labour government, you should be happy then, no? Or is this more a case of daily trolling?

Hazi even the offshore Russians Interfere with UK politics by making huge Donations to your beloved,
Mafia Con Party.
Never heard of your fictional Mafia party- and you should be happy that the state pensioners in this country (Britain- where we live- not the other place where you live) won't vote Tory- according to you. So when the election comes in a couple of years, you'll be happy that all the state pensioners here voted for Labour (of course they will- who else?!) then, and won't need to resort to releasing the foreign trollish angst on a daily basis perhaps. As it happens, this is (in the real world) a non-story, as you probably do actually know. Sunak has not U-turned on any pledge regarding the triple lock, and any attempts to make this appear the case are clearly desperate attempts by the repetitive nothing-to-offer clueless marxist illiterates.
As a pensioner who is actually informed about current affairs, I am not "hit" in any way, shape or form, thankyou very much. You really must think the people in our country are naive, Gulliver. Perhaps you could spend the time better by spreading the nonsense over there instead?
Gully,what you having for dinner?
Saying as your OP isn’t fact
Or News either!
Why does everyone talk as if Gulliver lives abroad - most of the evidence is that he's an unemployed/unemployable van driver living in Goole.
