I was not in anyway getting 'misty eyed' over you, far from it.

That post was my way of trying to get a little adultness back into the debate, the Ed. could see the way it was going, hence him putting a block on it.

But it looks as if you are not adult enough to let bygones be bygones, and get back to what is after all only a recreational pass time.

I put my hand out to you, but you obviously are not prepared to grasp it. I am sorry that you are not prepared to accept me as your friend, but for the record, at least I tried.

Referring to jack-the-hat being gay, no I had no idea, and I wouldn't be rude enough to ask her outright, just in case I had it wrong.

Nor I have of yours, but unless one 'comes out' then one must be prepared to be mistaken for a heterosexual, and we all know that some of the less tolerant gays are not prepared to accept this.

There appears to now be two gays on this site, and both seem to be rather unpleasant people.

It is a good job that they don't reflect the true nature of gays, because most are rather very friendly and sociable people.
AOG, what a ridiculous comment.

Which one of the 3 are you referring to?

Do you always prefer to know the sexuality of anyone with whom you are debating ?
If so, it says quite a lot about your standard of debating skills.....it obviously enables you to tailor your insults specifically.

If by that next statement you mean that there are other gay people on this forum who find you as risible as I do, then I must agree.

I'm surprised that friendly and sociable people are in your particular orbit.....
surely it's the person that matters not anything else
some people are nasty whatever their sexual preferences, religion, political beliefs and vice versa some people are nice
a person may well be gay, but they are not just "gays". we are all just people first. it's disrespectful and looks childish to me.

a bit of tolerance would make the world a better place.

and the original post was pathetic. if AOG was being the "better man" here he'd have kept his mouth shut and shown some dignity.

Certainly one........the other is fine though.

I agree.

What is your problem with AOG´s comments?
