Around here turkish/bangladesh/bosnian muslims are not welcome in local pakistani mosques; there are no alternative mosques. Muslims can't integrate between themselves.

Muslims are permitted to eat kosher meat, or even non-halal meat, if nothing else is available and they would die if they didn't eat - although the extremists don't demonstrate it very well, Islam regarding the preservation of human life as a basic principle of the faith. You eat to preserve your life - halal is best, other things would be permissible if you were starving.

Indeed if i were starving i would probably eat anything, i have tried most types of food over the years, but hopefully that won't happen.

The Muslims I worked with are amongst the friendliest, sweetest and most generous people I have ever met
The very nicest man I ever met was a catholic priest from Nigeria who had converted from Islam when he was 13 years old. When he told his father he wanted to convert his father replied 'that is the will of allah'
