Herpes is trivial. Many people don't get a recurrence, lots don't get any symptoms.
It is not life threatening, doesn't cause long term illness, and really need not cause any problems.

hc - you're talking crap. herpes is serious - lifelong, painful and stigmatising. how do you think the lady found out? by having an flare up, obviously, so it has affected her. perhaps you should be given herpes and would like to come back here in a couple of years and let us know how 'trivial' it all is. pillock...
I don't think its harsh..... I don't understand this bit though ...
*But she was soon diagnosed with the lifelong infection and reported him to police when they split up in 2010*
so going by that she carried on the relationship knowing she was infected but wasn't too worried about reporting him at that time?

btw...it is LCG95 (actually look at the letters under my avatar which isn't difficult - but if your post is anything to go by, you do seem to miss out on an awful lot, don't you?). how would you know, hc, if herpes is soooo trivial??? are you actually aware of how this has affected the poor woman involved? also, there are different types of pain/distress associated with illness and disease if you'd care to discuss the physical, social and psychological aspects and constructs of health i'd certainly appreciate your opinion more - but i guess that may be a bit complicated for you as you seem to simplify anything you don't understand. i also still think you are a pillock and are simply digging deeper.
