What will happen to the Anti Capitalism protesters when it comes to the Armistice Day Parade on November 13th?
They say they will stay till Christmas. I wonder if the parade can go ahead now?
Should they be "forced out" now?
if so, how could this be be enforced,
The Bankers don't give a stuff that these people are protesting !, and what have they achieved by it?

Pastaf, as Ab Ed pointed out, if a million person march over Iraq had no impact, what will 300 odd souls achieve.
I think there are somewhat more than '300 odd souls'...estimates say 1,000 during the day...and that is just one location. The impact is from all the demos from numerous other cities-including something like 70 just in the US. And this is not just one incident-but part of an ongoing protest. There are other major marches planned for early November I believe.

/// .I think the bankers will *have* to take notice,as too many ordinary people ///
As one of these 'ordinary people', (and I am presume that you are), given the chance to have a group of these bankers in front of you, what would you ask them, and what would you demand they did, to solve the problem?

/// Will no-one think of the poor old paraders on Armistice Day............? ///
/// Oh, no, that's right........we are no longer considering them.////
Of course some of us are still considering them.
I would have thought that it was obvious, get rid of the protesters from St Pauls, and in turn that will also solve the Armistice Day problem.
/// How many of the 'offended posters' on here are directly affected by these protesters and their tents? ///
You have answered it yourself, we are 'OFFENDED' by them just being there.
Some people are offended by many things that don't necessarily affect them personally.

AOG - I understand that you will probably have skim-read through this thread but my comments regarding the Armistice Day relate to the question title which deals with the Parade....and then later comments by the OP where she dismisses any real concern for the Paraders.....
I spent some little while yesterday trying to find out 'why' the OP was offended by the presence of the protesters and wished that they would move on, but to no avail, I'm afraid.
Perhaps you would like to explain quite why you are offended by their presence at St. Pauls?

/// Ms Gerrity also says she is encouraging protesters to "go home, have a bath, turn off their phone, have a sleep, have a rest, take a day off".///
"If they stay out every night, they will get sick, " she said.
I thought the 'Left' were made of stronger stuff.

I am all for peaceful protests, that is if the protests don't run for days and days, and generally make an otherwise beautiful building look untidy, and prevent it from operating in it's usual manner.
What I am not in favour of, is peaceful protests being highjacked by other factions who are there solely to cause disruption to an otherwise peaceful protest. (See my latest post also.)

to say that a few tents makes st pauls look ugly, doesn't bode well for our architectural heritage.
aog, i read that the 90% go home for the night is complete made up nonsense and that some actually go to work during the day and protest in the evening/night.
is that still not good enough, or will you again bend, weave and back peddle to criticise these peaceful protestors from another angle ?

trigg, do you know how old AOG is, or indeed the ages of those protesting.
To make such a sweeping statement seems a bit strange. Some of those people interviewed were not kids, students, but older people. I wouldn't presume to know their ages, but they aren't all young.
It was the police who said that many of the tents were empty overnight after they had used thermal imagining cameras, i believe that is what one policeman said on the news.
