What will happen to the Anti Capitalism protesters when it comes to the Armistice Day Parade on November 13th?
They say they will stay till Christmas. I wonder if the parade can go ahead now?
Should they be "forced out" now?
if so, how could this be be enforced,
The Bankers don't give a stuff that these people are protesting !, and what have they achieved by it?

I am not dismissing per se Triggs, I am not daft enough to realize such historical events have changed the way we live, it is my opinion that this particular one is going nowhere and never will
by veterans I mean exactly as it says, old soldiers? who have the right to march each November to remember their war dead, I can see by this thread alone how many of you actually agree with them camping out on the steps of Saint Paul's, it is only my opinion ,and it is I do not

The St Pauls site is not the first choice of the protesters, in any case. They were prevented from occupying the 'Banking' area and were 'persuaded' into the St Pauls area.
Perhaps the powers that be could be persuaded to let them reach their target and set up camp there, where only the pesky bankers would 'suffer'?

They may protest all they like but if one was to ask any of them, what they where actually protesting about and how they would change things I guarantee they wouldn't be able to come up with any answers.
The Bankers are always portrayed as the villains, well what do you wish them to do?
As i see it there seems to be an awful lot of jealousy, some have plenty of cash that others would like a share of.
If the Bankers were to share their bonuses out, how much do you think everyone would get?
But this is never going to happen.
So what are you asking for?
The majority are perhaps protesting because they have lost their jobs, but why is this, is it down to the fact that some public sector jobs were over staffed?
Is it also down to the facts that there has got to be cuts, owing to the terrible financial mess that Labour left us in?
I truly do not know, what the protesters want, or if it comes to that some on AB who are supporting this protest.
If anyone can come up with any answers, please enlighten us, then perhaps it may make us more supportive of these protesters.
At the moment there have been many supporters, but with no answers.

demands & objectives of occupy london:
1. The current system is unsustainable. It is undemocratic and unjust. We need alternatives; this is where we work towards them.
2. We are of all ethnicities, backgrounds, genders, generations, sexualities / disabilities and faiths. We stand together with occupations all over the world.
3. We refuse to pay for the banks’ crisis.
4. We do not accept the cuts as either necessary or inevitable. We demand an end to global tax injustice and our democracy representing corporations instead of the people.
5. We want regulators to be genuinely independent of the industries they regulate.
6. We support the strike on the 30th November and the student action on the 9thNovember, and actions to defend our health services, welfare, education and employment, and to stop wars and arms dealing.
7. We want structural change towards authentic global equality. The world’s resources must go towards caring for people and the planet, not the military, corporate profits or the rich.
8. We stand in solidarity with the global oppressed and we call for an end to the actions of our government and others in causing this oppression.
they are not a political party with a manifesto, just a movement with a voice. as far as i can see they are protesting peacefully, so what is the problem aog?
