She waas wrongly imprisoned for murder and lost 4 years of her life. She is absolutely justified in making money out of her horrific experience at the hands of the Italian judiciary - I damn well know I would.
Believing she is guilty, in one's opinion, doesn't make it so - the opinion of, for example, atrollope, has been formed solely from the media reports and that is an unreliable way to form an opinion of somebody's guilt or innocence.

Philtaz
It's not mercenary - she was jailed for four years. She was released on appeal. She's not making money out of someone else's death - she's getting payback for her own incarceration. I want to reiterate - as far as we know, she is 100% innocent of murder, and has spent four years in jail. Those are the only facts that should apply.

Fair enough sp1814,
I didn't say she was a murderer, just that her behaviour on the night of it was decidedly odd and her actions more than suggest she isn't telling the whole truth about her actions and whereabouts on the night, maybe that's why she was prepared to see Lumumbu spend time in jail instead of her.
As you point out, she's 100% innocent of murder.
So was OJ Simpson........
Let's not forget too that

If, as the courts have decided, this woman is innocent, then she, and her family, have suffered a hell that none of us can possibly imagine, and she has every right to tell her story. She served four years in prison for an appalling crime that she didn't commit, and I'm willing to bet that in the same situation anyone else would do exactly the same - despite what they say.
Fortunately, behaviour perceived as being 'odd' by the media is not in itself enough to convict someone of a murder - otherwise half the 'celbrities' in the world would be in chokey as I write - sorry Ms Gaga, for wearing seriously strange clothes, you are herby banged up!
Sound ludicrous? Good - it is!

I gather that the Police asked her if she thought it was possible that Lamumba was involved.....and that she said it was *possible*.......everything else was extrapolated from that. Part of the sentence she has already served is for the 'slandering' of Lamumba.
The police had their own agenda when it came to Lamumba.
When did she confide in you that she didn't tell the whole story, philtaz?

Yeah, very suspicious when your boyfriend turns his off at exactly the same time.

Philtaz - you seem unable to accept that a court of law - full of people who do this for a living - have concluded that this woman is not guilty of murder.
It matters not one jot - from her 'behaviour' to the fact that her name begins with a K - all the suspicion in the world which is pumped up by the media to sell papers is not going to alter the fact, she has Not Guilty.
Why do you personally have a problem with that?
