Is this a uniquely British disease?

Why don't we see blacks, Asians, French, Australian, Muslim, Chinese etc etc behaving like this?

Crikey, sp1814........you've managed to raise the blood-pressure of some 'complete newbies' with this thread....well done, that man! :o)
Why did you specifically state that blacks never exhibit the behaviour in your link?

To be honest. I was bored. Been wrapping Christmas presents since bl**dy 7am (I have A LOT of nieces and nephews), noticed a couple of posts from the resident biggie and decided to lob a grenade.

Still haven't finished wrapping...Christmas sucks.
ummmm - a bit more decorum, people not getting plastered out of their minds and laying in the gutter for a start....I remember what it used to be like and youngsters did not get drunk like they do now! Maybe you don't have experience of some years ago??
sp1814, there's nothing wrong with dancing... if those who try are funniest when they have had a few sherbets down them (at least not as painful as the Karaoke bunch) surely that is cultural. Gambling hmmm... never mind!

BTW.. I love those huskies ;-) I'm off to the shop.. (erm.. vodka and..?)

As I've explained before - club culture is expensive. It almost prohibits you from getting drunk. Ever tried to get wasted at a bar that charges £7 for a pint of indifferent beer?

So back to the original question...
It must be tiresome, at this time of year, to stand with their noses pressed up against the window.......

Treat yourself to an egg-nog and put the sellotape away for the evening...LoL

The only thing you should mix with vodka is more vodka.

...and ice.
daisya, you can call them hypocrites if you like, but I bet you know loads of people that get married in Church, have their children Christened, use the Church for funerals and put CofE on the hospital records but never attend a Sunday service.

A lot of people are born in to a religion, class themselves as belonging to a religion but don't follow the rules of the religion at all.

Many people consider themselves atheists but are still branded Muslim, Jewish, Sikh, Christian, whatever because of their heritage.

Too true hc...I understand totally where you are coming from and in my book hypocrites describes them perfectly,.

Steve no one has said it's a crime to be young fgs...just how to behave is the keyword and most in drink don't know how to I'm afraid! Shame really.
ICE! ??? com'on! that sticky tape glue has gone to your head ;-)

We didn't behave like that I. The 80s.

We got bladders...we gave our phone numbers out to people we wish we hadn't...we wore terrible clothes...we killed the ozone layer with our hairspray....we may have even sang 'Too Shy' by Kajagoogoo whilst walking down the road with our arms linked with our mates...

But we never sat o the pavement eating KFC, not did with know girls who would pee in rubbish bins, nor did we see anyone passed out in the middle of a traffic island,
SP....obviously you don't go back as far as I do then....youngsters didn't go out drinking and there were no clubs for them to get h*ssed in...that's the difference.
what's h*ssed?
