Gromit, whilst I tend to agree with you - if you had seen and heard this ""person"" in action, you would think he required locking up for a) his own safety and b) some treatment.
That comment was mild compared to the rest of his tweets. Following his apology he sent more tweets to Tom saying things along the lines of he was going to 'drown the c**t'.
Tom was also not his only target. In fact your free to have a look at his page and what a delightful young man he is. It appears it's still active. Some of his comments to Tom have been deleted but there are still plenty there for you to get the general idea from.
Hhhmm, sorry seems you might not be able to access that although I can. I'd be happy to copy and paste a few examples if you need proof of what a vile creature he is.
After the event, Daley tweeted: "#gutted so sorry everyone but we tried our best and we can't afford to miss a dive at this standard... bring on individual!"
Shortly afterwards, he hit out a Twitter user who accused him of letting down his father, who died in 2011 from brain cancer.
Daley retweeted a message from @Rileyy_69 which said: "You let your dad down i hope you know that."
The diver responded by tweeting: "After giving it my all... you get idiots sending me this..."
But the internet troll went on: "hope your crying now you should be why can't you even produce for your country your just a diver anyway a over hyped p*****."
@Rileyy_69 stepped up the hate campaign later, saying: "i'm going to find you and i'm going to drown you in the pool you cocky t*** your a nobody people like you make me sick."
I think we should think of these Tweets as the modern equivalent of poison pen letters. If you were receiving abusive and threatening mail, you may very well get the police involved.
I can access it, and from reading a few of his other comments I totally agree that he should be arrested. it's about time people realised they can't just say what they want on the internet without expecting some sort of come back.
Yeah I saw one video Mamy (one was enough). It was actually almost funny in the way he was clearly trying to come over as a scary 'big man' and thinking that the repeated use of the F & C words were the way to achieve that. It's clear he's just a silly little boy but he's one that needs to learn a lesson.
despicable people, not sure jail is the answer, perhaps being put to clean out the athletes rooms, bathrooms, would be a start, then get them to watch the athletes concerned go through their training, perhaps that will change the little twerps minds.
OG - the ironic thing is he claimed not to have known Toms dad was dead (course not) and that in fact his own mother died too. You'd have thought he might show a little compassion.
1) Short Jail term to show him what hard men are (couple of hours in the shower picking up the saop shoudl do it)
2) Community service to show him what being in a community means
3) Banned from any electronic equipment for at least 5 years.
Zero tolerance, that is what is needed or this rot will spread.
