On Radio 4 news this morning it was said that ER had asked the Home Secretary, though it didn't mention which one, why couldn't Abu Hamza be deported.
Should the monarch be meddling in the business of the judiciary?

She's specifically not allowed to interfere in the business of the judiciary, but surely it's OK for her to ask a question. And that is all it seems that she's done.
Perhaps she wasn't meddling, Sandy, maybe she was just trying to have a better understanding of the situation.

According to this she was 'upset that there was no way to arrest the radical cleric... '

You seem to be confusing the terms "arrested" and "deported".

Well four of Abu Hamza's sons are currently in prison in UK; so I guess they won't be going anywhere.
Surely she has the right to ask HER government whatever question she wishes - just as you or I can. I wouldn't call it meddling, personally.
Why has there been need for three consecutive threads to be posted on the subject of Abu Hamaza?
AOG . . possibly because one was posted on Monday, followed by mine, which I immediately apologised for. And the third one was today when further news broke.

Simple really AOG.
sir.prize

The exclamation would have been enough and for which I thank you for, but there wasn't any need to add the rather sarcastic and aggressive footnote.

Funnilly enough , i was listening to the programme this morning ; and i did think at the time that it was a bit ' unsual ' that Frank Gardner had made the disclosure
