I'm not sure her parents will be able to relax. A stroppy 15 year old will not be happy and could easily walk out.

Perhaps if there was not such a massive witch-hunt the girl may of contacted them. I suspect there is more to this than meets the eye, and like I said before it does not mean she will stay and talk to them, in fact if she blames them for what she perceives as breaking them up then she may never speak to them again.

Its a weird one because in this case the child may not want to be re-united! There is a chance of further rebellion and stress on the family. Silly lovesick teenager! She will one day realise how daft she was. I will retract this if she was actually abducted?

Legally she was abducted, even if she went on her own volonté. He did not have the permission of her parents, as she is still a minor.

None of us know the facts. For all we know she was kept against her will. For all we know she made him keep quiet.

But if I had a missing 15 year daughter in any circumstance I would go to anything length to find out that she was at least still alive. The other things can be worked on.

Glad it all has ended, however feel sorry how the teacher has been treated. Abduction, pi$h ! The lass left on her own free will the pictures show this.

Maybe the press should investigate why she wanted to leave home in the first place ?

When I see excerpts like 'arrested on suspicion of child abduction' and 'found in France and taken into protection' I realise that one size does not fit all when it come to how these cases are handled. Protection from who? Abduction? I doubt it.

I can't understand why people are not horrified over what he's done. Yes, she's 15, probably looks like a woman, knows what she's doing to a certain extent....but, he's a teacher!!!

Yes, he seems very immature for his age. Surely he would have known the consequences. If he felt he was that serious about Megan he should have waited until she was at least 16.
