One of my dear departed mum's greatest pleasures in life was going to the hustings before an election. Candidates expected to be heckles, indeed many relished it. Think my mum enjoyed the heckling more than the political speeches. If you can't take it...........

Gove's an utter plonker, really, isn't he? He said: “It shows the real face of Labour — a party where aspiration and achievement gets booed.” Here was a girl praising the academy system - started by Labour - and ONE person heckled her, getting roundly condemned for it. Does he really believe that one negative shouter at a political conference is a spokesperson for the party? Truly dim!
