It was asked if her parents were with her. The reply was 'they're on their way as we speak'.

Its obvious she can't go back to Pakistan although she could have gone to the AEU which was much nearer.

However the family is probably here for good...I wonder how soon they will be given council accommodation?
And so what if they are given council housing - they have good reason for leaving their country!

suggest that she gets treatment here, it's being paid for by other sources as already been mentioned.
I do object to the following, health tourists of which there are many, the health professionals know it, have said so, but if these people come here, have an operation, baby, fix their bits and pieces, and the NHS doesn't ask the right questions, like are you resident, have an NI number, are entitled to access the NHS then what is one supposed to do.
They do cost the NHS millions in lost revenue.
but why oh why does everyone have to be flown here and operated on ?

Wouldn't that be agains their human rights?

I don't need an operation and will steadfastly rebuff any attempts to get me on a plane.
she has been treated in Britain because people have paid for her medical car. It's not a freebie, or that is my take on it. I hope she gets well, however i don't rate her chances of a long life if she returns home, as Naomi has said and i agree, they are madmen, and some will stop at nothing to confirm that fact.
even medical care...
"And so what if they are given council housing..."

Ye Gods, friedgreen! Do you consider that the UK's housing stock should (as it seems to) be made available for anybody who turns up on these shores? What about the tens of thousands of UK citizens who have spent years on Council Housing waiting lists? Or do they just get pushed down the queue ad infinitum?
Only too happy if we can help. She deserves our support.

Well said newjudge
we will soon be getting pushed out according to the latest news from the council, seeing as how you need a small fortune to live here, and we certainly don't have that. The capital has become a city for only the well heeled.
