she does, and these old fossils should sit up and take notice, that you can't silence them forever. All children deserve a life, education, and girls have long been looked down upon in many societies, as drudges, slaves, child brides, breeding machines. Time that some took their heads out of their arses and realised this is a modern world, and shooting little girls for having the audacity to speak out seems to have been an own goal.
it's why it makes me so angry, and i don't use that word lightly when i see little girls, young teens, and women dressed in the Burkha, and often veiled, this seems so alien to the concept of progression in Britain.
That is another issue, for another day perhaps, as i have to go, but hope she makes a full recovery.
Sqad, I don't know about beds, but I know from personal experience there are times when equipment needed for an NHS patient is unavailable because it's out on loan to a private hospital - but that's another subject - so I won't detract from the subject in hand.
because my dear Sqad, according to the reports, and as you should be aware we have many excellent medical facilities. Read the link to the BBC, it gives more info than i have time to add.
my dear em....I have read it, but my question still stands.....is the NHS to pick up all the waifs and strays throughout the world or just to pick and choice.
Incidentally .......nobody has answered my question concerning private patients in NHS beds.
Is everyone really flown here and operated on? I very much doubt it. We just don't hear about the ones who are not.
There should be no question about treating this child. I'm saddened that anyone would think we shouldn't whether paid for by us or not.
Sqad, don't know if this answers your question, I've got private health insurance and could have the option of using NHS beds, I would then I get a cash lump sum in return. Not sure of the ins and outs as we didn't opt for it.
The NHS is suffering financially, and we cant go to other countries and have operations without paying etc, I have lived in different countries so know this first hand, if Pakistan is paying then I repeat I have no problem .
rocky...that is slightly different.......if you had private insurance and you were admitted into a NHS bed, the NHS and staff would not be able to charge you or your insurance company.....BUT....you may well be able to claim a lump sum from your private insurance for saving then a much greater expense.
