What a good idea. Kitchen and bathroom specialist companies already cater for Kosher and Halal requirements in UK.

The only modifications that seemed to have happened are an extra tap and some sliding doors, hardly worth raising an eyebrow over, never mind anything else.

Kosher and Halal are rules on slaughter, ingredients etc. I had don't know what features a Halal/kosher kitchen must have.

em10. Three years ago had a granny-flat added to my house and when I instructed the architect to design in a full wet room for a disabled person he went on to say that he frequently specified 'kosher' kitchens to accommodate the need for separation of meat and dairy preparation and washing up. Similarly bathrooms that catered for muslim requirements.

perhaps it's seen as pandering, there been some outcry over followers of Islam, with halal foods and that is not something on a small scale.
Same for Kosher, at least label all foods that are halal, so we have the choice.
