this is mindless gang warfare, which is out of control. Our borough has the same problem. it is mostly drug related, and too often a black on black crime. Not actually sure those weren't born here by the way.

The assumption is the two murderers where foreign nationals or asylum seekers of some kind?
This will only strengthen nationalist views but how many british born muderers are there? Its a difficult topic to summarise

some people in our borough have fled from war torn countries, settled here and raised their families. That doesn't mean to say those families stay together and some of their young are swayed to joining these gangs as a way of belonging. Sadly this often comes at a price.

I imagine the link that VHG makes with immigration is that there is a very strong likliehood that Messrs Ofosu-Asare, Idiabeta and Okusanya, if not first generation immigrants themselves are at least children of immigrants.

Yes the story is very sad. But there is no doubt that the vast majority of gang-related violent incidents in London and other large cities involve solely black people. Whilst this is not direct evidence of a link between such incidents and immigration many people will have reasonable cause to make that link.

you don't have to be black to be an immigrant, they come in all colours, London now has a very sizeable, going on those i hear around me, Eastern European fraternity.

Quite so, em. But your statement looks at the issue the wrong way round.

Indeed all immigrants are not necessarily black, but most black people, if not immigrants themselves are recent descendants of immigrants. The three participants in the event in question are black, hence the link that VHG has made.

Terrible black people. Much better when there was no immigration and you could leave your back doors open without being mugged by blacks or raped by travellers or bombed by Muslims.

My grandfather faught in the war (both of them - he was very keen) and he would weep if he could see what's happened to our once proud nation...

...well, at least he would weep if his tear ducts hadn't been stolen by burglars back in 1986. They were probably black.

It matters not that they are immigrants or the descendants of immigrants, we don't want this kind of gang culture in our country, and just because they happen to be black should not prevent us from discussing these problems that we are now experiencing in this country.

Incidentally the poor unfortunate victim, happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and for that he was viciously and savagely stabbed to death, one can only hope that his killers spend their full time in jail, but somehow I can't see that happening.

It is a pity that the likes of sp1814, can sarcastically make light of this terrible crime, just because the perpetrators happened to be black.

sp, no one is suggesting that it's all the fault of black people. To think otherwise is foolish. I would add this, and it's from my own experiences. I socialised with many West Indians way back in the early 70's, a even mix of black and white, and some mixed race.
The one thing that to me has come home to roost, is that those men had a lax attitude to marital fidelity and taking care of their children. They all had any number of girlfriends, and endless children with them, most of the girlfriends were white. Those children rarely if ever saw the father, and i am not talking of a few here, but very many. The rather laboured point is that this situation has had repercussions down the years. Whilst i am aware you may come from a good solid family as did many others, i have seen what this has done in some of our communities, second, third, fourth generations with no father figure, parental guidance, which has led to very disenfranchised young people today.

most were 15, 16, 17, very rarely were they older. One of my best friends had two babies by her married West Indian boyfriend, he didn't support her or them. That is not an excuse by any means, i am just relaying some of the problems that have filtered down over the years.

they didn't support the women they were married to either, or the children they had with them. It was part and part of their culture, don't ask me why, but it was.
