Since those far off days when it was called "The Gay Disease" have not gays and bisexual men still not learned the lesson?

Firstly - I've noticed some ABers enter this debate with an announcement that they find anal sex disgusting (which lots of people do). That's totally fine, and obviously you're entitled to your opinion. But if you want to state on a public forum that you don't think the anal passage should be used for anything other than defecating, I don't think you have the right to then obstinately refuse to discuss the details of it.

Why? Because it denies people who disagree with you any right of response. You cannot have a discussion about anal sex without talking about anal sex. If the details of 'the act' bother you, then you shouldn't wade into a discussion on it and nobody else should be responsible for accommodating your sensibilities.

I agree with sp - I think the reason for this is largely because younger gay men don't seem to think of HIV as being a big threat any more. That's largely because it's perceived to be quite rare, and also because it's not the death sentence it once was. I've done volunteer work with local sexual health organisations in my area, and it got really frustrating sometimes regarding how careless people can be.

boxy....just seen your post.

Quite simple.....for me.

Female homosexual anal sex can be ruled out.........male homosexual anal sex is (to me) quite unnatural....although i have never tried it.

NOW... heterosexual anal sex invokes a female rectum which is entirely different from a male rectum. it has vagina in front of it and the rest of the body has breasts, perfume, silk lingerie....completely different from the male, homosexual scenario.

Yes, yes, I know men can dressup, put on perfume, knickers etc, but they would be pushed to fashion a vagina surrounded by labia.

Just my opinion.
Sqad - the surroudnings of the female rectum may differ from its male counterpart - its functions and plumbing do not.

Your point is?
"male homosexual anal sex is (to me) quite unnatural"

That's not a reason not to do something.
