'bedroom Tax' - Anyone Agree With It?
The so called 'Bedroom Tax' starts today. Anyone receiving Housing Benefit (HB) who has a spare room will have their HB reduced.
Will it solve the housing shortage?
or
Is it a cynical stealthy way to cut the benefits bill?

having read some more of this, bravejordy said what i did earlier on, and it works even less in the capital because one bed properties are scarce and indeed can be a damn sight more expensive than the one i currently occupy. so if i move, get full housing benefit because it's one bed, then the council are paying a lot more ultimately. or the tax payer is, whichever, or whatever, or i have lost the blasted plot on all of this.

desktop, everyone including me has advised you to pay it, if you cannot then get some help. Like CAB with advice and the council itself, as they do have workshops going on to give out info on the changes, it wasn't that much use by the way, but they did give me the rough cost and that is more or less what it will be a month.

Stop being so rude Desktop.
You have been told on a number of occasions - stop buying crap off ebay and get a job. Why the hell should my taxes pay for you so that you can sit on here all day moaning about what a terrible life you have and asking daft questions about CDs? Your benefits will be cut, and you will have to keep paying your rent whether you like it or not.
