Hi Sir Prize, won't be in London for that musical too far to travel!
it was undoubtedly a great musical, i have seen it several times, and loved the film, however i don't recall that piece, and even if i did would it upset me, no, because quite honestly it doesn't matter. It would have fitted the story presumably, the time of the miners strike, however the show, film is about a lad who has a dream, one he fulfils.
I once heard she survived on a mere 4 hours sleep night. Whether that's true or not, served her country proud.

perhaps i didn't bother to listen close enough, still it's a great show,
i believe that was what she told someone, that she got by on 4 hours sleep a night.

Like I said in the NM's thread, I thought she was a formidable woman and had more balls than any of the politicians that have since followed.

RIP Maggie
I believe this thread may hav beaten AB's all time -answer removed- record.

May I take ths opportunity to give the editor a little pat on he back. It would appear that you've been working some serious hours today...
I hate it when answers get removed. I want to read them. :-(
I think Ed has the right attitude "Lets keep it civil please. If you'd like to be rude about Maggie I suggest you do it elsewhere for the next 24 hours at least. "

He is only saying what the likes of Ed Milliband said today. "Today is not for disagreements it is to remember a politically unique figure".

Personally, there were some of her policies I abhorred and some that I think were great. Nevertheless, an old lady with alzheimers has died. Dancing on her grave is not something I can do.
Thank you theland for your 18:36 post, you have restored my faith that it is possible to be left wing and have a soul, many thanks.
The finest prime minister we ever had, may she rest in peace.
