Sandy...it what way will Major deserve a State funeral ? He was only voted in as the Tory Party leader because he wasn't Michael Heseltine. He lost over a 100 of the Tories majority in his first election and then lost to Labour in 1997 in a spectacular manner that hadn't been seen since 1945.
