Re- Call Of Parliment.
MPs can claim up to 3,700 GBP for being re-called from their holiday today, to pay respect to thatcher no wonder they are expecting riots at her 8 million pounds funeral , and that price is without the cost of security.

From looking at the funeral arrangements it would appear to be pretty much the military. Given that we pay the military whether they are sat on their backsides or fighting or at a ceremony I wonder if that cost is being factored in (as it should not be). The only cost should be the addition transportation that may not have happened otherwise.
As for security, it will be the fault of the left wingers driving that up.

I think what William Hague said this morning regarding money was nothing short of disgraceful. I don't care how much money she saved us with her EU stance, I care about everyone being told by this government that 'we are all in it together' when that is obviously not the case, and see fit to waste millions of pounds on a funeral for a woman who was simply doing the job she chose to do.
Jeez - the family are contributing to the funeral cost
The owners of the Ritz are entitled to let who they like stay free, just as i am in my home
Labour had 13 years to put right her 'devastation' and they didn't - probably because they agreed with a lot of what she did but didn't want to be the instigators.

??? Surely if an MP makes a personal decision that they would like to pay their respects to Mr's T at her funeral, then the onus is on them to fund their personal decision ? Or is the implication that they need to be paid in order to pay their respects and put on a show ? That doesn't sound very respectful.
