Re- Call Of Parliment.
MPs can claim up to 3,700 GBP for being re-called from their holiday today, to pay respect to thatcher no wonder they are expecting riots at her 8 million pounds funeral , and that price is without the cost of security.

I saw Hague trying to off-set the cost of her fulneral against the EU rebate
Quite laughable really
Shall we deduct the cost of losing and retaking the Falklands?
Then deduct the cost of the miners strike?
Add in money raised from privatisation?
Rather a ridiculuous way of justifying what is basically a big PR campaign for the Tories

>>>>That evil woman who destroyed this country
I think you mean saved this country.
Go on to the internet and look for Winter of Discontent, 1978/1979 (under a labour government) where the country was on its knees. We had unions demanding 30% pay rises, holding the country to ransom, trying to push it towards a communist state.
We were broke, and the laughing stock of Europe.
Thatcher dragged us out of that, put us back on the world stage, and make Britiain "Great" again (for a time).
The only reason Blair and Brown were able to get into power with the country in such a good state was because of the groundwork Thatcher laid.
If Thatcher had not come to power we would be where Spain and Portugal and Greece are now, going cap in had to the EU to stop the country going bankrupt.
Some may not be old enough to remember but pre-Thatcher we had many badly run nationalized industries like the GPO (phones), the Gas Board, the Electricity board, British Rail and so on.
These were over manned, innefficient, baldy run and gave a TERRIBLE service (I know I worked for the GPO). You had no choice but to use all these companies as there was no competition.
Now you can get your phone service from many companies, go to any high street and buy a mobile phone from many shops, get trains from many different train suppliers and so on.
This country is a FAR FAR better country than it was pre-Thatcher and we have her to thank.
These young morons who are dancing on her photographs would be in for a shock if they went back to the 1970s to see what life was like then. They don't know how lucky they are.
