The majority of Muslims do not believe in what these terrorists call "Jihad". The majority of Muslims in Britain love Britain and see themselves as British and Muslim.

Baz continues to completely miss the whole point of the question so let me point it out carefully.
It is not a question about whether muslims *are* our enemy in which case we would need to define and agree on the word enemy.
It is a qustion about whether each person here (who presumably speaks english well enough to have a concept of enemy - even though it may differ from one person to another ) would apply that tag in their mind to any muslim.
I am surprised though at the people who have in the past posted very intolerant things about Islam do not, when challenged directly, think all muslims are paragons of evil.
The point is to get at what people's preconceptions are - to me the idea that all muslims are naturally the enemy of all of us is about as extreme a prejudice as you'd expect to get - to my mind it invokes the spirit of McCarthyist paranoia I'm pretty certain that all Americans then thought all communists were their enemies.
I wanted to get a feel of how far down that road we were
I'm a bit encouraged I must say it's not quite as bad as I'd feared

thanks Naomi, but what i mean was that when a Muslim does something, everyone immediately expects Muslims to condemn it, even when it has nothing to do with them, yet when a Buddhist monk kills a Muslim in Burma, i don't hear anyone telling the Buddhists to say anything? In fact, i barely hear anything about it.
