I decided to give AB a whole day to comment.........but not one post.

Any criticism of the NHS is ignored or kicked into the "long grass."

oh God I saw Tony Narula (prof of surgery no less now)
fiddling with an anaesthetic machine
and commenting - surgeons can multi task see ?

and thought if surgeons were trying to anaesthetise over the week end no wonder the deaths were rising.


They appear not to have controlled for the fact that most operations are or should be urgent / emergency over the week end
and are associated with a higher mortality

anyone going into Hospital at the week end and thinking they will get a week-day service needs to be certified dont they.

P.P..Tony Narula is an E.N.T surgeon he doesn't know what it is like to go in at night or weekends......unless it is a private patient.
