""Its a shame that there werent armed police there to remove them from the gene pool at the time of the offence"
"
that was reference to the time of the murder of the soldier, not the rs-whipping he got in prison.

How many times do i have to say it.... I do not care what happens to these two, nor do i care who does what to them.
Do you care about the rule of law Baz?

Do you think it's important that we live in a society that is governed by laws that everybody is responsible for their actions under those laws and that people who break them should be punished?

You see I rather think you sound like the head of a lynch mob - that you think that 'right thinking' people should be permitted to take violent action against those they dislike if the law is too slow or insufficiently severe for their taste.

It sounds to me like you want to live in a dictatorship where the dictator and his secret police shares your values and ideas

That you want to be an autocratic dictator by proxy

Or have I got you wrong?
"So you thinkn we should kill people who kill people to teach them not to kill people? "

what a pathetic and ridiculous statement
Its not a case of teaching its more a case of "you wont be getting the chance to do that gain"

"It sounds to me like you want to live in a dictatorship where the dictator and his secret police shares your values and ideas "

you mean like the eussr that you love and gush about !?
Forgive me Baz - must have slipped my mind

Remind me of the EU directive that allows remand prisoners to be assaulted.

Why don't you answe the question

Do you believe in the rule of law or not ?
I'm not sure what's confusing you jake. He's already said he couldn't care less what happens to the person.

It's not the same as saying 'The man that did the assault shouldn't be punished', or 'everyone should feel the same way as I do about things all the time'. It just means in this particular case of law breaking where a man was assaulted, he couldn't care less about it because he doesn't like the man concerned.

I won't be losing any sleep over it either. It doesn't mean I don't believe in the rule of law though.
there seems to be some confusion, was it a fracas with another prisoner, and the staff stepped in to restrain him, because that is what todays news paper seems to suggest..
"Here we go ...the usual attempts at distortion & pedantry etc etc etc etc" no it's not, you are being asked to justify the statements made. Do you have a scale of crimes to justify when it is acceptable for folk in gaol to be assaulted?
no one knows as yet who assaulted who, because as i have already mentioned, the staff in the prison seem to have been involved somehow. But let's see if there is more information forthcoming,
perhaps this is a little more up to date,

Bejayzus ! restraining someone and knocking out their teeth is a bit sporting innit ?

A retired gaoler said this is how it could be done in isolation:
You say to the intended victimi - Oh you have a zit on your face I will have to dress - I will go and get a plaster....
Leave the door open
and come back in and find - heavens someone has assaulted prisoner X in my absence.
"stop picking on me, stop trolling mel......if you dont i'll be forced to report you you to admin" Where on this thread do you think I did that Baz?
I am amazed teeth were knocked out during restraint

In the eighties one of the prison officers at strangeways taught self defence techniques as an evening class to us walk-ins
and I dont recollect anyone getting their teeth knocked out....

they did work - it did enable me to take a knife off someone

Michael Adebolajo this man's brother is complaining ?? Why is he still in the UK ?
