I was quite suprised by this one as well actually, probably because he actually mattered in my childhood (I used to like the show where he drew a picture of a character before showing a cartoon). Just have wait and see what comes out in the wash I guess.
You wouldn't have to, hc. That's just gossip and you'll never stop people doing that. It isn't the same, imo, as being reported on BBC news, papers, etc.
The problem would be, pixie, that the arrested person would be named on Twitter and other social media, and even worse, the wrong people would be named.
Yes, but Twitter is also gossip, rather than "News"? I don't use it myself. What would happen on there, if, for instance, i named a celebrity and stated something harmful and wrong?
Two little men had two little boys
Each had a young girl too
Gaily they played each summers day
Dirty old men both of cause
One dirty 'Entertainer' then had a mishap
Jumped out of his dirty bed
Wept for his boy, then cried with joy
As his adult playmate said
Did you think I would leave you crying
When there's room in my bed for two
Climb up here, my Mate and don't be crying
I can go just as fast with two
When we grow up we'll both be Dirty Men
And our victims will not be girls or boys
And I wonder if we'll remember when we were
Two little dirty boys
He is an artist. He will have painted many people of all ages in the nude. What worried me is the way detectives were sent to Oz to ask women to come forward. They did the same with Jim Davidson, sending people to the Falklands to dig up the dirt, all to no avail as it turned out.
I hope he is able to clear his name, but if painting young nubile girls is a crime, then I expect Dali and Picasso to be arrested after the fact!
There is a fine line between art and indecent images. There is nothing in the news report to indicate whether the images are paintings, photos or something else. There is nothing indecent about a photo of a naked baby on a rug and there are grades of indecency when it comes to photos.
I was very shocked at some of Lowrie's exotic artwork when I saw it. I just wasn't expecting images like that from him.
