Too late to stop BoJo ! But his case illustrates this well. Officially an American citizen because he was born there, he is obviously British. No lawyer would say he was 'domiciled' in the US, because he has never shown a settled intention to be there and remain there as his principal place of residence for the rest of his life. That should be the test for any foreign player, that they show such a settled intention, and not merely be here for the requirements of their employer or career..
GROMIT, why should folk who have never set foot in a country have more right to represent it than someone who has lived there for five years?
yeah ! they could have language tests -

you know where if you scored more than 1 (per cent) it shows you knew a foreign language and so COULDNT be English.

or a French test where the whole point is to shout the English text in a Fransh acsong - beginning of course with: I weel say zees only warnts....

or a German test where if you didnt goose step around the room and make Heil Hitler salutes you failed
