Pleased you have brought this matter about my username up once again.

I have explained it on numerous occasions but for all those who missed it here we go.

The time before I joined AnswerBank there was a TV programme called something like Old Giits, were a few more elderly celebrities made very amusing grumbles regarding various topical issues.

When Answerbank came along I thought that would be an ideal on-line venue to conduct a similar debating forum and in those days it was much more friendly than it is today, now one gets the various trogs whose only purpose on AnswerBank is to sit in the wings of the debating stage so as to make their abusive rants and encourage others to do the same.

Even my username has been shortened to 'OLD GIT' or even 'GIT' in their juvenile attempts to insult me, so much so that when we were all given a chance to change our usernames I applied but along with some others it did not happen for some reason.

But still many call me AOG which seems much more friendlier, so I don't think I would wish to change that.

can you actually show me any...not ones you happen to think are racist in your little pc world, we all know that anybody that speaks up for the country and whats happening to it and has opinions that differ from you and others on here nearly always has that word thrown at them, but sadly for you that doesnt make them racist as much as youd like it too.

if you bother to reply, I couldnt give a monkeys if you do or dont by the way, but I know you wont be able to help yourself, but dont expect a quick reply back, i know thats something else that seems to peeve some on here, not getting a prompt enough reply.

I've had a free morning so needed to amuse myself, so to that end chose AB to help me, but the rest of the day is going to be pretty busy and unlike some of you on here AB is not a priority in my life.
