AOG - Flawed logic. It's a matter of priorities. I'm not aware of criminals flying planes into buildings or blowing up tube trains. That's more the sort of thing that terrorists do.
I would hope that once a person has been identified as a potential threat to the security of this country that they would either be arrested or at least have their movements monitored.
