But, why do these people get anonymity orders imposed. Now he has slipped through the net, we all worry to what end? If there is reasonable doubt as to this persons activities in the first place, should we know?
Or is it against his human rights, innocent unitl proven guilty, racist to even mention this etc etc!!!

Anonymity is probably given as the Terrorism prevention and investigation measures notices placed upon them are not part of the criminal justice system (no trial, no convictions etc) - if they have not been convicted of a crime then it would seem quite a detriment to have your movement restricted and your name published

It's still odd though, Iggy. If someone is subject to restrictions under anti-terrorism law, why should this be secret information? It is a fact. And the name of the person being known would help in finding them if they breached the order.

There is a Sex Offenders register, public knowledge.
But I suppose the difference is it contains "offenders" not people of suspicion or under observation. It just worries me that we are made aware of a suspected terrorist now, because he has escaped police observation?!

Probably have camera's on the entrances/exits. Count them in, count them out.

Terroirst goes in, never comes out. Burka wearer never goes in but does come out. Not rocket science.

You have to wonder why he was in our country in the first place. Is Somalia part of the EU now?

Incidentally only the other day I passed a figure in a full burkah (on Portsmouth station) who seemed to be walking with a remarkably masculine-looking gait.

Recently there was a thread about a person wearing a Nazi uniform in a supermarket, yet some don't seem to are about the Burka being worn all around Britain, surely this could turn out to be more of a threat than an historical uniform?

It might not be unreasonable to suspect that this might be due to some collaboration with security forces

Al-Shabab,doesn't after all have a strong history of activities outside of Africa and has seen a number of defections.

I think you are being a little narrow minded and should consider other possibilities - like the possibility that MI6 just lost an informer!

So he enters a mosque, would you have stopped him from doing this?

Then someone emerges from the mosque, wearing a Burka, should our "highly respected, highly trained and highly paid security forces" gone up to that person and demanded them to remove the said garment?

Surely a breach of their 'Human Rights'?
