I'm sorry but I thought your comment was inappropriate in that we are discussing the disappearance of a small boy. At the time you made your post, he was still "missing" but it was fairly obvious to many of us that some skullduggery was involved.

However, I don't really think your post should have been removed, as it was being disputed rather spiritedly here on AB.

The Police may not have got the information from the mother. In all cases, the background of the immediate family will be checked including previous addresses and known associates. This will have been ongoing throughout the investigation.

The comment just didn't sit right with me either, and I was surprised that the poster was you, Sqad. I don't think it should have been removed though.

BEFORE the news about the mother being detained I saw a picture of her and couldn't help thinking what a good looking young woman ! Possibly Sqad saw the same picture .

I think it was a perfectly normal comment for Sqad to make and didn't warrant such a fuss. We've all looked at the picture of her and made some conscious judgement as you do any photo of someone.

I didn't see squads comment or saw it and saw nothing untoward.

The little boy is dead, his mother is talking to the police and his siblings are suffering now and will do for the rest of their life. Sad outcome.

PP..there were tow pictures, one showing her rather thin and gaunt i would agree, but another one which showed her "fuller in the face" and it was the latter that I was commenting upon.
