Now these are odd reactions. My understanding is that chap's powder rooms are mainly communal anyway.....do chaps find it different to have a communal big job?
Nice ladies on the other hand always have a privately enclosed space.

Standard communal toilets with no partitions in some army barracks in 70s/80s. Could sometimes be a little embarrassing, especially after a few sherbets and a curry the previous night:-)

Back in the 70s when I was on the HMS Ark Royal the crew were warned about writing on the toilet doors and walls and if it didn't stop then all toilet doors would be removed. It didn't stop and all toilet doors aboard were removed. It did cut out the graffiti mind lol.
