He's not a drag queen, JL - and even if he were, why not? He's given the award for his work, not his wardrobe.

Love him and his work too. I can't see what all the fuss is about he dressed up smart to go to the palace just like most people do. Would it be considered as news worthy if a woman turned up in trousers.

Boxy...I agree with JL......traditions, etiquette and acceptable behaviour seem to be a thing of the past, but there are still a few people who value their existence.
I for one and JL for another.
Surely, this Perry fellow could at least dress in a more conventional manner on this special occasion, just for perhaps two hours.
