Ukip Have Now Lost My Vote
One of the reasons my wife Marjorie and I were going to vote for UKIP at the next General Election was their unswerving opposition to so called 'gay marriage' where men could marry men, women could marry women, and no doubt horses could marry cows.
And now Nigel Farage has said he WON'T overturn this ludicrous law:

Why on Earth has he backtracked? I called my son, who's at university, on a ballet course to discuss this, but he was out at some club call 'Throb', and my daughter was also otherwise engaged at a feminist retreat in the New Forest.
What's going on?
But seriously...what IS going on?
Isn't this going to upset some of the member of UKIP who have defected from supporting other parties, specifically because of the main parties' support of equal marriage??

Nige was answering a question that was put to him wasn't he. Isn't it normal when asking politicos what they will do, that there is a sort of pretend assumption that it means - if they were in a position to do so. wouldn't be much point in asking anybody anything otherwise would there.

SP, //For two years, UKIP have been vehemently opposed to marriage equality, and now all of a sudden, they say they won't revoke the law if they gain power. //
Doesn't sound too dissimilar to other political parties. Red Ed, inspired by Mrs Thatcher, now pledges to champion the middle classes. Politicians eh? Who would you trust? ;o)
