Actually bibs, "tired and emotional" is the euphemism that is usually used
for a politician when he drunk on duty. I remember with fondness, that George Brown was often called that !

Well, you may be right bibs but I can't see much in the way of evidence that he was drunk on duty when he did the LBC interview, but I may be wrong.

I don't think he needs alcohol to assist him in being a prat, as he seems to manage quite well without any outside influence !

Iozzy. Let me tell you a true story. When I was a teenager, I used to backpack all over Europe in my holidays, using an Interrail card and staying in Youth Hostels. Many years ago, I was waiting for a train on the platform of Victoria railway station. As the train approached, another traveller, from Oz was struggling to put on his enormous backpack, as it was fearfully heavy.

So I gave him assistance, but even so, it was still a huge struggle. "What on earth have you got in here ?" I panted.

"Fosters" he replied. It turned out that he was on his way home to Oz, after spending a year working in London. He had dozens of cans in his pack and two changes of Y-fronts, and that was all. He said that he didn't want to run out of good beer on his way home. I pointed out that he was going to be travelling through a few countries renown for their beer, like Germany, etc but he was unconvinced.

Still at least his pack got lighter as he travelled south !

If this were from a Labour, Tory or Lib Dem politico now THAT would be something! Imagine the scandal if Farage had left a young daughter in a pub? There would have been calls for him to be hung, drawn and quartered and a clamouring for Social Services to get involved, no doubt.

Still, as I keep pointing out mikey for a 'minor politician' he does garner a lot of attention from his detractors, who appear to be running scared. It is odd how the 'main parties' are all focused on the little guy and not each other. Why would that be?
