What is this country coming to when everyone has to think if certain actions may cause offence?

Should all newspapers of any particular political association, be burnt because in their past they may have reported unwisely on an event on which they reported many years ago?

I squashed a spider that frit me with mine!
Mine went straight from the mat to the recycling, I was worried in case a visitor saw it..
I put mine straight in the recycle bin too. A number of reasons...

I have never read it.

I don't ever want to read it.

The face of my terrified nephew at Hillsborough that day captured on many front pages still haunts me - thankfully he came home.
I never got one, were some areas of the country missed out.

Our copy is in the bathroom, can't saybI've read it yet.
Does one "read" a paper like the Sun ? Surely looking at the pictures perhaps but reading ?

Careful China, if the ink still rubs off on everything like it used to!

There are many posts saying that it was 'chucked' in the bin etc without being read.

Many have commented over the paper's role over Hillsboro, and some have attacked the paper just because it is simply The Sun.

But no one has cared to read and then comment on it's content regarding England and the World cup, the main reason it was issued, or the the various 'This is our England' content, such as:

Who do you think is the greatest living English person?

Who do you think is the greatest historical English figure?

Or the article entitled "A land of creativity and grit, no one else on the planet comes close to our genius".

But then for some to read anything that puts England in a good light, far outstrips their hatred of The Sun just as a paper, or its coverage over Hillsboro.
I don't hate it aog, I just didn't get to see it.

Can't comment on what I didn't read AOG, saw 'The Sun' and binned it!
That's because "England and the world cup" is an insanely tedious subject.
To some, Krom, to some.

I'm getting in the mood with some world cup related songs.
