Even if you accept that the benefit system needs reform (and most people do), the incompetence, dishonesty and downright vulgarity of IDS' tenure cannot be the answer.

Judging by his record I think you will have to wait until such times this country is run by a Communist type Labour Government.

Well said Zeuhl ! Steinbeck was one of the 20th Century's most important writers, which is why he was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1962. Everybody should read "The Grapes of Wrath", let alone school kids, especially some of our more regular posters here on AB !
