In particular he can't say what is going to happen about a currency. Despite being told by Labour, Conservatives, Lib Dem leaders, Governor of the Bank of England, financial services authority and all England based banks that it will be impossible to keep the £ in an independent Scotland he just repeats ' it is Scotland's £ as well'

Gordie, are you aware that, if the vote is for independence, one thing that will have to happen once the process starts is that a general election will take place in Scotland. In other words, a vote for independence is not, by definition, a vote for Alex Salmond.
ALL parties will be represented; it may even turn out that the Conservatives, who were at one time a major element in Scottish politics, get in. (Heaven forfend, obviously!)

A YES vote would do terrible damage to Scotland. After the initial euphoria, reality will set in and we will be stuck in the past - permanently. Salmond is a VERY dangerous man and obviously hates Scotland and the Scots and wants to take us all backwards in time and leave us there. Maybe he's hoping the sale of Tunnocks teacakes will solve our problems. Beware anyone voting YES, be VERY aware. This is not something we can vote out after 5 years because we don't like it. This is for EVER, for all eternity, and future generations will curse those gullible enough to vote for an Indy Scotland. Yes, we must get rid of Cammy, no doubt about that, but Fat Eck (and his gang of thugs) is not the answer. Far from it. A very grave error will be made if a YES vote wins. A very sad day for Scotland.
what I can't understand is the reasoning behind the way some have said they'll vote. as janbee says, the vote could decide they way Scotland will be governed, for generations.
yet some have said they will vote yes to "stick it tae Cameron" - which is nuts, because he won't even be in power 12 months from now.
