Dare anyone say anything on here before they are called for their TRUE VIEWS? there are plenty of do gooders here, let them answer!
Time to let it be known there will be no money, no food, no shelter, nothing. Forget the humanitarian angle so beloved of the hand wringing lefties, it's time to be ruthless until they eventually get the message.
To be honest, we don't really need the mayor of Calais to tell us that large brown carnivores deposit faeces in dense forests, do we?
It appears that the UK pays more benifits than it is required to by the EU otherwise the illegal immigrant/asylum seekers would stay in there first European 'port of call'. I cannot see how the immigrants aren't given the ultimatum of claiming asylum in the country they first enter or being sent back down the line.
Wait for it Dave, the Bible bashers on here will soon put paid to that.
if the border controls are moved from Calais to Dover as the French want, how much force will the ferry company be able to use to keep the illegals off their boats, or would they be obliged to carry them for nothing?
I never would have had the Mayor of Calais down as a little Englander.
Isn't that what you get called when you say this kind of thing?
Its not rocket science, I for one have been bleating on about this for many years! The politicians are meant to be well educated people, surely they only have to ask themselves why migrants cross many borders to get to us, simples, we are a soft touch! Stop giving hand outs, housing, free medical treatment, schooling, benefits etc etc to anyone who hasn't paid into the system!
Your farting in the wind with your comments, no matter what you say or do, the cranks in the big house will make the rules for you, its up to you next year to make your ,mark! but will you?
Must be something attracting them, it can't be the weather or the cream teas can it ???

" is the UK a soft touch on benefits" ? You have to ask? We're not so much soft as squishy marshmallow soft. I'm all for helping people but YES, we are a great big SOFT touch.
The answer is simple then, cut our benefits to match the other EU countries.
The UK provides a generous standard of benefits to all people that enter a claim regardless of creed or colour.

As we are in the EU we are expected to provide that standard to all - regardless.

This was known when we joined the EU.

So can you explain to me why illegal immigrants are attempting to claim in the UK when according to you they ought to be able to get it in any EU country, shouldn't they?

They are not doing anything wrong by claiming it.
No idea how that last sentence got to be the last paragraph in my post she. It should have been part of the c&p!
Every one knows this even the nay sayers who call you racist just for talking about it
What's race got to do with it?
