Not sure what kind of appeal they thought they might try ?

After all, they murdered Rigby in broad daylight, in front of witnesses. Its not as if they were fitted up by corrupt Policemen, is it ?

As has been said before in relation to these two scumbags - its a shame the police didnt shoot them dead at the scene when they had the chance.

What they intended to happen was to be shot dead by the police so that they became martyrs to Islam and so spend eternity in paradise. Staying alive was not the intention.

It is a shame, but they must have thought they could get useful information from them. Unfortunately they're now costing us money. We can only hope they die soon of natural causes.
This is a good example of why bringing back the death penalty for acts of terrorism should be given serious thought.
Retrochic has a point. It would be nice to be absolutely sure that they will suffer in prison. Treason used to keep the death penalty - perhaps it is time to reinstate it?
jourdain only 1 of them is in prison the other is in Broadmore mental hospital.
He is considered mad. Broadmore unlike a jail has no release dates he may very well be there for life.
