Good morning
Now the dust has settled on our last fall-out, and we have had time to calm down and reflect, I would like to extend the hand of friendship once again, and offer my apologies for any offence caused during our last few heated exchanges.
Life is too short to bear grudges, and we are too old and experienced to allow ourselves to behave in a less than mature and civilised fashion.
We have always climbed over our anger with each other, drawn a line, and moved on, and I hope we can do so once again.
Best,
A-H.

I'm sure I don't know what you mean - I don't stop talking to other AB'ers, and it's unfair to suggest that AOG never stops talking ...
As to what will or will not be changed by an apology - that is for AOG and I to decide, and everyone else (who remotely cares!) to find out.
Thank you for your interest.

sp1814 - "Both AOG and andy_hughes have shown great maturity here."
Thanks sp.
I think my esteemed colleague and I are both 'old school' - we may get a bit het up from time to time (!) but we don't like to be at outs with people, and when we have had a quick rub down (a damp NME for me, and a damp Daily Mail for him) - we come to our senses and get ourselves sorted.
Thanks sp.

Jordyboy - "John Wayne said never apologise its a sign of weakness, extend the hand of friendship and you will get it bitten off, well someone said it.stick to your principles."
John Wayne was a lousy actor and role model on screen, and a closet bisexual hypocrite buffoon off it - I am delighted to avoid any sentiment to which he adhered.
Thank you.
