//I have explained many times why I believe the belief that this is 'my country' to say who will and who will not live here is arrogant and futile - I am yet to be convinced by any argument or opinion to the contrary.// andy-hughes just a question when does it stop though at the country or do your beliefs continue to your own house? Do you lock your doors when you go out...

And being treated as silly little girls if they return instead of brave amazons might also work as a deterrent

/// I am surprised, if not shocked, at the head-heartedness being shown here. As far as we know they have done no harm to anyone but themselves, they have made a dreadful mistake and they could, if captured, be beheaded or stoned to death, and yet some of you seem quite sanguine about that.
What a shower! ///

And has far as we know (and that includes you) how do we know that they haven't done any harm?

For all any of us know they may have sharpened their husband's beheading knives for them.

Incidentally who are you rudely calling a shower?

The likely effect on society as a whole should take preference over the effect it may have on an individual, especially when that individual has chosen to make its own decisions.
If their rehabilitation meant they had a positive influence on their peers would you not be more inclined to take that leap of faith?

I need definite proof before I do any 'leaping'.
THECORBYLOON, //do you belive then there is no value in rehabilitating anyone, regardless of the effect that could have on them or society, just in case?//

With Islamic extremism there should be no ‘just in case’ and no benefit of the doubt. The security of this country must be paramount.
I shall now throw a Mills bomb into this thread by declaring that I believe that all those upholding the view that these girls should not be allowed back into the country as some weird punishment such as death for their mistake, are people who hold no religious convictions of any sort whatsoever. Am I wrong?
