my personal dealings with the man were always a pleasure ..a gentleman in the true sense...please do not attack him when you did not know him..his public persona was very different to the real man ..we all ALL have habits we would not want to become open to public debate..show some respect at this very sad time...
oh dear...what a shame....he actually asked me out once just after he became the youngest mp in the house ....troubled life....may he be in peace now ...
Seemed a nice chap I must say. I always enjoyed his appearances on the TV, especially Have I got News for You. Very effective Liberal Leader....62 MPs in 2005. But he lost his seat a few weeks ago, to the SNP. I wonder if that was a factor in his death ?
At least Gromit is honest. How many people who have taken the mick out of the man for years will be eulogising today. Was it natural causes, have they said?
Glad I didn't see Gromit's post. Charles Kennedy seems to have been held in high esteem by his peers whatever demons he had to live with. RIP Charles, hope you are at peace now.
