Saw a fab joke re prostates....."Guys...save yourself from a trip to the GP....do your own prostate exam,...just wipe your *** with Aldi Value Toilet paper......;)
Just to please those who criticise me for daring to bring the word Muslims into debates, perhaps Mollie Goodfellow, the author of this piece of rubbish should have directed her criticisms at the Islamic faith rather than to condemn all young men?
Pleased to see that the Independent chose to publish a large photo of what a tampon looks like, certainly educated me, although we once used something similar to pull through and clean our rifle barrels.
I am reminded of an old joke. Its about a young boy who goes into the Chemist and asks for a pack of Tampax. The sales assistant asks him if these are for his Mum or his sister.
"No" he replied," they are for me ! It said on the telly last night that you can swim, ride a bike and go rolling skating, and I can't do any of those ! "
Tampons are very useful. The army issues them in first aid packs for males and females to plug wounds. I've used one on a horse with a severe puncture wound and when the vet came she thought it was a fantastic idea.
"Pads" are also a very useful item in a first aid kit Retro for the same reason.
We have first aid kits in all our vehicles, our home and workshop. They all contain tampons and pads.
Hi Ron, I don't think there's so much ignorance as lack of understanding of what emotionally a woman goes through. Yes we are 'taken over' by this thing every month & it's a case of .. gawd here we go again & no sympathy with 'some' men. Not only do they not 'get' it, they don't know when to just leave well alone & instead do what we ask of you & be extra considerate/ sympathetic. It's like we let you know ... but still you forget!
Hiya lozzy :0) We don't want much .. a hug .. extra sympathy .. don't wind us up .. if some men were more sympathetic a week of each month, there'd be less arguments. Not a lot to ask is it?
For the record, all you women have my sympathy. I am not sure how us men would react if we had a similar monthly difficulty, but I feel that we wouldn't cover ourselves in glory !
Does any know if menstruation is being taught to mixed classes in schools these days ?
