Ban Smoking In Pub Gardens ?

Seems like a reasonable thing to me. Smokers dont care about who they upset so something needs to be done if they wont act reasonably.

There is no Pub Garden within miles that can match the Sea View from our Balcony, (1st floor, 3 tables,) and with Supermarket booze prices we don't often feel the need to venture out and be ripped off unless it's for a meal, in which case we're inside anyway!
Not even the Dog is allowed to smoke at home!!
I think the decline in the 'pub trade'has far more to do with how cheap beer and wine is in the supermarket now compared to a pub. Morrison's has 500ml of real ale in a bottle for 89p against £3. 20 to £4 in most pubs.
The last figures I saw said that smokers were down to just 17% of the population now, though there are variations in some areas. But over 80% of those incarcerated in prisons and mental health institutions are smokers! Is this saying something ??
Personally I would ban smoking in public totally , if you want to smoke you do it in your own home only.
