I wasn't particularly referring to this case, perhaps I unknowingly steered you into thinking that by my words "such women"

What I meant to ask was, can women be paedophiles, because I have never seen them described in such a way?

Yes they can - they are not as common as male paedophiles, but sexual abuse of pre-pubescent children of both sexes by women does occur, and is prosecuted as such.
