The other question you raised -Talbot- (and my post at 10:16 was not a response to you) is the general discrimination against white people.
I'm sure this happens, and this is why these proposals make sense.
AOG has said that some may not want to hire black or Asian staff because they could potentially cause trouble down the line.
This is something that fortunately I've never had to deal with, because I've been lucky to only encounter HR people who don't hold sweeping generalisations about people based on race.
I'm sure there are such people - but luckily once you start working for larger organisations, individual prejudices tends to get excluded by specifics of the candidate selection and interview process.
For instance, one person in the process might have certain prejudices, but in all jobs I have been for - there are multiple interviews with different people and everything is documented and has to be justifiable.
