Sqad...American Policemen have been using the excuse " well, he might have been a danger" for too long now. Some of them, at least, appear to be out of control, as there have far too many of these incidents.
That's absolutely correct, far too many incidents involving American police ... now, when people say there is far too many incidents involving supporters of Islam think back on your above comment.

You are a very brave man mikey. Tell me how you arrest a youth who is carrying an illegal deadly weapon openly.You are unarmed and you know the stab vest you wear is totally unsuitable for the job it was designed for.
Your first thought would be why is he approaching with an open knife and your second thought might be this could be the same killer who fatally stabbed two youths in two seperate incidents in London this week and one a week before that.
Your third thought may be how will I arrest this man ,ensure he is no danger to me and others and finish my shift tonight in order to see my wife and kids. Your last thought could be why did I join the police. I don't get paid enough for this.

Ummmm...I am sure that black Policemen shoot innocent white people as well, although I am not sure of the numbers involved, and I don't have the time to research that now. But my gut reaction is that there are more white Policemen doing this than black...I may be wrong of course.

Yes gut reactions generally do lean towards one's own particular agenda.

Your talents are wasted as a CSI on AB. I have looked over the dash cam video several times and nothing is that clear to me to state that the officer overreacted. Especially nothing to find the officer guilty as charged yet.
I heard no audio from the video and only anecdotal script from the prosecutor.It is now her job to convince a jury in a court of law that he is guilty as charged and nor for us in the comfort of our armchairs.Much more has to be delved into and not a video that stays mainly focused on a pixelated form and nothing much else.

Round London there are calls to take tasers from the police as well. Not all police are routinely armed with them in any case. Just a baton.There were pobably police officers quickly on scene at Lee Rigby's slaughter but still waited until an ARV arrived to take out the murdurers with appropriate lethal force.

From what we have seen (and the case has not been proven, so we have to be careful in our condemnation), this copper seems to have fallen woefully short of the standards we expect.
Anyone who tries to turn this around by point fingers at the dead lad is missing the point.

It is mentioned in the first link that he did reload, that is chilling in itself given the circumstances.
The erasing of footage from a nearby Burger King CCTV tape is also very odd.
I hope those with all the relevant evidence to hand make the right decision on this charge.
