I sometimes think AOG has a special pair of 'twisted view of the world' spectacles which allows him to see connections which aren't really there and conclusions which escape the rest of us. That's my only explanation for his views and opinions. (Well, I do have another but I can't really say).
Some people would be on their high horses complaining about charity money spent on 'our own' disadvantaged youths being treated to days out, especially if their parents were 'on the dole' with criminal records (or drank, smoked or had a huge tv)
I can almost hear them - what about the kids of hard working parents on minimum wage that can't afford day trips to the seaside?
/// I sometimes think AOG has a special pair of 'twisted view of the world' spectacles which allows him to see connections which aren't really there and conclusions which escape the rest of us. ///
That is prime coming from the likes of you.
I am regular accused of saying things that I never have, they being just the twisted infantile mind set of some calculating ABers set on a constant "let's attack AOG, it such great fun" campaign.
/// See the date? 2009. This organisation has been operating for six years - long before the Syrian refugee crisis began. ///
And nobody said they hadn't, I do not know of the 'freebies' dished out at that particular time, or even who those refugees were, or where they came from.
But this article is about the present batch of refugees and what 'freebies' they are at present enjoying, so put away your history book and please stick to the thread up for discussion.
I think the point you make is clear , when doing a Lottery or contributing to something then check your money only goes to charities you wish to support and not those you don't.
