Should Donald Trump Stop Using Adele's Music In His Rallies?
The only other time I recall something like this happening was when Billy Bragg demanded that the BNP stop selling his music at their gatherings.

Of course he should stop. It's one thing him playing music at a party but doing what he is doing, as with REM, associates an unwilling artist with his toxic brand. I can't see that he had much to gain my defying the artist in question. Find a music artist who likes you Mr Trump. And good luck with that.

I would stand four-square with Adele on this - but I am sure she knows, as do I, that she has little chance of stopping Mr Trump using her music now or in the future, if he so wishes.
Using an agreed short section of music does not attract royalty payments, and does not I believe infringe copyright legally.
There is of a course a moral argument, but argument, moral or otherwise, is not something Mr Trump bothers himself with.
